Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2, 2026

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the briefa.io website and the Briefa platform, operated by François-Xavier Renaux (an individual) ("Briefa"). By joining the waitlist, creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

Briefa is a creative-decision platform for Instagram: it analyzes the performance of connected Instagram Business/Creator accounts, detects patterns, and generates ideas and scripts. The results are data-based recommendations and do not guarantee any specific growth or engagement outcome. Briefa is in a pre-launch phase; features and plans may evolve.

2. Eligibility and account

3. Plans, payment and waitlist

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) use the service for unlawful purposes; (b) connect accounts without the account holder's authorization; (c) attempt to circumvent technical limits, reverse-engineer, or overload the infrastructure; (d) resell or redistribute the service without authorization (except white-label features included in the Agency plan).

5. Connected-account data

By connecting an account, you represent that you have the authority to do so. Data processing follows our Privacy Policy. You can revoke access at any time, through the platform or in your Meta settings.

6. Intellectual property

The platform, brand, design and code belong to Briefa. The reports, ideas and scripts generated for you may be used freely in your business. The data from your accounts remains yours.

7. Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Briefa is not liable for business decisions made based on the insights, nor for outages of third-party APIs (Meta, TikTok). Total liability, where applicable, is limited to the amount paid in the 12 months prior.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time.

9. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated with reasonable notice.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved before the courts with proper jurisdiction.
